Hunting
Thousands of hunters travel to Mitchell every year in search of the wily ringneck. The season begins in mid-October and runs through the middle part of December. The daily limit is 3 ringneck pheasants with possession limit of 15 birds over a five day period. Shooting hours are 12 PM to sunset from 10/21 to 10/28, and 10 AM to sunset during the remainder of the season. For more hunting information, call Dave at 605-996-6208, Good hunting!

Prehistoric Indian Village and Archeodome
A full scale lodge, a dog travois and bull boat, give a taste of what it was like on the plains 1000 years ago. Capture a glimpse of this prehistoric culture through daily hands-on activities and guided tours. Visit the Archeodome, one of only three in the world, and discover Native American Culture, art, and traditions through special summer and fall events. Enchanted World Doll Museum
