Have you ever driven down a canal? That's what you will be doing if you get off the New York Thruway at Weedsport and head south to the Best Western Weedsport. Located just minutes from the New York Thruway, the Best Western Weedsport is a great place for a stopover or spend a few days with us as you visit the famed Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. Right in front of the Best Western Weedsport is Highway 31, whose roadbed was laid on the Erie Canal. Just about anything you are in the mood for can be found in the area. Minutes ahead you can find out what it was like in the canal's heyday at the Erie Canal Aqueduct Park. Head further out and visit one of the many wineries the region has become known for. If you are into great scenery, stop by one of the many nearby lakes and have a look. If you are in the mood for a walk, the Appalachian Trail is just a ½ mile away. If you want to see auto racing at its best you can drive down to Watkins Glen to see the big boys run or stay closer in and see some real door to door driving at one of the many nearby race tracks. Speaking of cars, you can also visit the Classical Car Museum that is nearby. Whether you are in the area for business or pleasure our comfortable and spacious rooms will serve your needs.
