This property is located just sixty five miles from Louisville, KY and an International Airport service a city is among the most popular in the country for conventions. Rough River is only a stones throw away and we offer one of the most enjoyable Resort parks in the State. We have a convenient 3200 foot Airport runway right our front yard with just a short walk to our Main Lodge with forty beautiful rooms and seventeen two bedroom cottages with all the conveniences. We offer airplane camping and we have a beautiful RV and primitive camp ground just below the Dam. Our 5000-acre lake offers an enjoyable adventure in relaxation, pontoon boat rentals for a leisure boat ride and plenty of the best Bass and Crappie fishing in the State. We have both large and small conference centers for groups of all sizes, our 9 hole par three Golf Course is the finest in the State and we have plenty of playgrounds, pavilion and gazebo for family and group picnics, a large outdoor pool for the adults and kids, a beautiful sand beach for all the outdoor enthusiasts. Out Recreation Department offers year round supervised activities that include trail walks, games and crafts for all ages. There are tennis, basketball and volleyball courts for everyone with the competitive desire for great outdoor exercise. There is an exiting 18 Mini-Golf course for all ages and our Lodge has a fine restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The lodge has a spacious comfortable lobby with a large screen TV, an award winning gift shop and a game room. All of our rooms have a great view of the lake and the beautiful surroundings, which include an exciting rock cliff shoreline and thousands of plants and birds of all sizes and types.
