The Best Western Plainfield Yankee Inn is the perfect place to stay when visiting Eastern Connecticut. We offer a brand new heated outdoor pool and picnic area, an expanded continental breakfast, a 1300sq foot meeting room, guest laundry, free high-speed internet access, and an exercise room. We completely renovated our property in the fall of 2004 and have a spacious parking lot that can accommodate buses, trucks, and R/Vs. Within walking distance you will find several places to eat, a grocery store, pharmacy, and a convenience store. We look forward to seeing you! We are located on I-395 at exit 87, 15 minutes from the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino's. Other local attractions include Brooklyn Fair Grounds, Woodstock Fair Grounds, Putnam Antique District, Thompson Speedway, Falls Creek Farm, Hopeville Pond State Park, Strawberry Park Campground, Millridge Manor, Wrights Farm, and Creamery Brook Bison.
