THE DEEP RIVER MOTOR INN is an atrium-style Motel located in the "Heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region and White Mountains". We are the closest motel to Polar Caves, Tenney Mountain Ski-Resort, and the very popular Rumney Rock Climbing, Hiking and Canoeing/Kayaking Area. There are sidewalks to downtown Plymouth and Plymouth State University. Our easy access to I-93 and Routes 3 and 25 make this a great location to enjoy all of the attractions offered in the White Mountains and Lakes Regions. After a full day of sightseeing, hiking, boating, rock climbing, skiing or antiquing, relax with a swim in our pool, the largest in Plymouth, and enjoy beautiful mountain views from almost anywhere on our property, a picnic under tall pine trees, or a meal in one of several fine restaurants available in the Plymouth Area. Barbeque grills and lawn games are also available.

* Complimentary Continental breakfast served daily * Lucky Dog Tavern & Grill (nearby) - lighter fare, burgers, paninis, Mexican and nice salad bar, seafood and more. Located on 53 S.main street in Plymouth just south of the town center. * Italian Farmhouse (nearby) - excellent Italian cuisine, with great bread bar and quaint "European style" atmosphere. Located just south of Plymouth on Route 3 South, 2 1/2 miles from Plymouth towards Ashland. No reservations. * The Common Man (nearby) - a good all around steak and seafood restaurant. Nice cheese appetizers, good wine list and great deserts. The atmosphere is an old post and beam barn style. The owner of this restaurant has many excellent restaurants throughout the state of New Hampshire (including the Italian Farmhouse). The Common Man is Located in the center of Ashland right on Route 3 east bound as you come into town on the left. No reservations. * Plymouth Bagels (nearby) - bagels, sandwiches, salads and spreads and breakfast all day. * George's Seafood & BBQ (nearby) - casual dining for great fried seafood and other basic food items. Take out available. Located 2 miles west on the Tenney Mountain Highway. * Tom's Brothers Pizza (nearby) - subs, hot & cold subs, homemade Calzones, Steak and Spaghetti. Located on 89 Main Street. * Mitch's Restaurant (nearby) - soups, salads, sandwiches, seafood, burgers, pasta. Located on 75 Main Street, across from the common. There are many more fine restaurants in the Plymouth area, please ask and we'll make suggestions. The above ones are those with which we are most familiar and have had good dining experiences personally.
